MSOD 620 - Performance Improvement Systems in Organizations

The critical role of OD in the implementation of performance improvement efforts is studied. The importance of integrating and aligning the OD efforts with the whole organization is emphasized. This course will present theory and practice in analyzing performance problems and designing representative performance improvement interventions. The course will focus on the design and implementation of best practices in the context of organizational effectiveness and will include such concepts as TQM, Six Sigma, Process Management and other emerging trends.
