MSL 610 - School Leadership

This course provides an overview of leadership theory, the leadership function and contemporary issues in educational leadership. Students will develop an understanding of the foundations from which current leadership theories have emerged; purposes of various leadership styles (i.e., situational, participatory, transformational, etc.); personal and professional qualities of effective leaders; and the connection between the leadership function, and the school, the school community, and the public.
