BIOL 470 - Biochemistry

Prerequisites: BIOL 101 and CHEM 202 with “C” or better or consent of instructor.
A course designed to study the structures, functions and metabolic pathways of biologically important molecules, including proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. Modern techniques in biochemical research also are introduced and explored in laboratory exercises.(Includes lab component.)
