MRKT 430 - Marketing Research


3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: MRKT 210   and MATH 270  

This course offers students an introduction to the use of the scientific method and research methodology, with particular attention given to the specific problems associated with conducting marketing-related research. Basic research methodology (problem formulation, research design, collection and analysis of data, and interpretation of results) as well as in-depth learning and application of common marketing research tools such as focus groups, consumer insight research, product development, concept testing, and electronic surveys, will be applied in the completion of an in-depth research project the students will design, implement, analyze, and recommend specific actions based on their data analysis.
