BMGT 220 - Business Ethics 3 Credit Hours
This course introduces students to broad historical ethical theories and provides the basis for evaluating and measuring one’s personal moral and ethical value system with an emphasis on the process of identifying and solving ethical dilemmas that arise in the workplace. Business ethics apply to both employee and employer conduct and how the business operates in the community. Additional topics covered include corporate and social responsibility, key stakeholder theory, business culture and leadership styles, business in society, inclusion and diversity, and business’s role in social issues.
Meets General Education Goal 6: Personal and Social Responsibility.
Must be completed with a final grade of C or better.
