BSAD 515 - Statistical Processes for Business Analytics

Prerequisites: MATH 200 or MATH 201 and MATH 270 or MATH 370

Students perform statistical analysis and critically evaluate the results in the field of business. This course includes an examination of appropriate terminology and techniques as well as the practical application of descriptive and inferential statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing. The use of statistical software, including regression analysis, is highlighted. Additionally, the course covers classes of stochastic processes which are widely used as modeling tools in diverse fields, including finance, economics, operations, and marketing.
