ART 150 - Drawing 1

Prerequisites: ART 101 or concurrent enrollment

This is a foundation drawing class focused on basic skills to help students develop stronger hand-eye coordination. Students will explore a variety of materials and processes as well as a variety of subject matter. Students will develop modeling techniques to create the illusion of three-dimensional objects as they are defined by light direction and intensity. Art criticism and presentation of the finished work will be introduced in this class as it pertains to drawing as a fine art media.
