FMTH 662 - Emotion Focused Approaches to Therapy

Introduces the emotion-focused therapy approaches of Johnson and Greenberg. Special emphasis is given to how emotion shapes internal experience, interactional patterns, and therapeutic processes in MFT including the exploration and repair of attachment bonds. Includes therapist skills for engaging couples using Johnson’s model of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
