MUSP 352 - Applied Conducting I (Instrumental)

1 - 2 variable Credit Hours

Prerequisites: MUSC 210 with C or better for instrumental and permission of the instructor

Students in Applied Conducting will analyze musical scores in preparation for conducting. Students will also determine and practice the conducting gestures and non-verbal communication used to conduct musical ensembles. Finally, students will develop the pedagogy necessary to teach music to ensembles.
