ENGR 401 - Machine Design 1

Prerequisites: ENGR 311 with a grade of “C” or better.

This course is an introduction to design and analysis of machine elements. Emphasis on fundamentals of stress, strain, deflection, material properties, failure theories, fatigue phenomena, fracture mechanics, and finite element analysis (FEA).
