This course introduces the theory and methods of social science research, beginning with an introduction to the history and philosophies underlying various kinds of methodologies. Quantitative methods will be introduced, which will include measurement, research strategies and design, questionnaire development, sampling, survey implementation, statistical analysis and interpretation.
