ORGD 630 - Strategic Thinking

Overview of the principles and practices of planning and strategy development. A special emphasis will be on decision making and developing foresight skills and implementation skills based upon thinking strategically. Planning processes will be examined at micro as well as macro organizational levels. Strategic thinking is focused on facilitation skills to assist with the challenge of building strategy. It is designed specifically to broaden the student’s perspective on how to make organizations more competitive and gain competitive advantage.
