SCHL 615 - Adult Learning Theory and Professional Development

This course will provide an overview of adult learning theory, including adult development,characteristics of adult learners, motivation, professional needs and staff development. Students will develop an understanding of the skills necessary for assessing adult professional needs and promoting professional and personal growth. They will also develop skill in group facilitation and the resolution of conflict within groups and among individuals.
