Courses in art seek to help students understand the forms and organization of the visual arts, to develop a degree of technical ability in expressing ideas in visual form, and to gain insight through study of the visual expressions of the thoughts and emotions of persons in both past and present ages.


Artist or illustrator; prepare for careers in video game development, TV video production, or cinema; and graphic design.

Choose One Area of Concentration:

Studio Concentration: 24 hours

Choose an area of emphasis in painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography or drawing for 3 credit hours.

Total Major & Concentration Requirements: 64 hours

Total Degree Requirements: 124 hours
