Human Services-Psychology B.S.

A practice-oriented degree designed to provide a better understanding of human nature and of the behavior of oneself and others as individuals and as members of groups.  the focus of the department is to foster student professional development through it curriculum, as well as through planned programming and activities led by the two student organizations, Psi Chi and Psychology Club.  Students graduate with a strong foundation in theory, research, and application and nearly 100% of graduates find work in the field or are accepted to graduate programs.

Students will not be required to fulfill common professional business core.

Employment

Careers working with people and for graduate training; work with families, child and family advocacy, intervention, and counseling for all age groups; additional areas of employment are diverse and can include law enforcement, business, human resources, vocational rehabilitation, youth ministry, education and more.
