The Master of Science in Cyber Security (MSCS) program is a professional degree designed to prepare students for leadership positions in cyberspace security.

Schedule

Many courses are three credit hours and are offered in eight-week terms, either fully online or in a hybrid format.

Students will earn a MS degree upon completion of 37 credit hours consisting of a 3-credit hour course in cyber security fundamentals, 6 credit hours in 2 foundational business courses, 21 credit hours in 7 core cyber security courses, 3 credit hours of further study in 1 elective cyber security subject, and a 4 credit hour Capstone course.

Admissions Requirements

 In addition to the requirements stated under the Graduate Admissions Policy, the requirements for admission to the MSCS program are as follows:

• Two letters of recommendation: one employer, one personal.
• Completion of the program interview process and written approval of admission by the program director after review of the admission requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution which includes topical coverage consistent with NSA CAE Core Knowledge Unit Requirements to include a minimum of 3 credit hours with a C or better:
