This degree prepares students for their professional career choice by providing them with the critical thinking capabilities and communication skills required for success in today’s business world.
Marketing is the process of planning and executing conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods and services to consumers, industrial customers, governments and social agencies. Both profit and nonprofit organizations engage in marketing activities such as conducting market research, planning and developing new products and services, advertising, selling, and retaining satisfied customers.
A grade of “C” or better must be earned in each Division required course applied to the major or minor.
Employment
A degree in Marketing provides the necessary background for employment in the broad field of marketing, including advertising and public relations, brand management, sales, services, retail, not-for-profit organizations, and marketing research.
