				The psychology degree program at Friends University is a practice-oriented degree designed to prepare students to work in the helping professions or prepare for graduate school. The psychology courses are combined with sociology courses to give students a broader base of study and application. EmploymentCareers working with people and for graduate training; work with families, child and family advocacy, intervention, and counseling for all age groups; additional areas of employment are diverse and can include law enforcement, business, human resources, vocational rehabilitation, youth ministry, education and more.  PSYC 100 - Introduction to Psychology 3 Credit Hours (Goal 4: Social Sciences and History)Six additional credit hours in science and/or math are required for CBASE students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree.
Major Requirements: 30 credit hours

Area 1 Research Orientation: 15 credit hours
