Physical Education Teacher Education - B.S. (Grades PreK-12)

Two Physical Education programs operate within the Division of Education. The Physical Education Teacher Education program is designed to provide teacher training that leads to Kansas, PreK-12 teacher licensure. The Physical Education (non-licensure) program is designed to prepare students to enter the field of fitness. Both programs are designed with engaging curriculums that provide the depth and breadth necessary for entrance into graduate school. All of this is in the context of a Christian faith.

Professional Education Requirements - BA/BS/BM Degrees (Grades PreK-12): 37 credit hours
37 credit hours includes Area of Specialization courses in all Education programs. Area of Specialization Requirement:
Physical Education Teaching Field Requirements: 34 credit hours
Requirements from Other Areas: 8 credit hours
Total Physical Education Requirements: 78 credit hours
Total Degree Requirements: 124 credit hours
