ECON 201 - Macroeconomics 3 credit hours Prerequisites: Co-requisite: MATH 101 or MATH 111 This course is an introduction to the theories used to explain the market economy. Topics will include demand for money, interest rates, unemployment, government policies, inflation, and economic growth. The course facilitates a better understanding of how people and the economy as a whole behave. Students will gain an appreciation for their roles as consumers, citizens, and business practitioners.
This course meets General Education Goal 4c: Breadth of Knowledge - Business.
