ART 260 - Sculpture 1

Prerequisites: ART 150.
This is a survey class that covers the various processes of making sculpture. Students will work from concept to the finished work.Students will apply creative problem-solving techniques to explore a variety ofsculpturemaking processes, including the additive, subtractive and replacement methods. Students will work with representational, abstract and non-objective images. Students will study relief sculpture as well as freestanding sculpture in the round.
