COMP 102 - Writing 2

Prerequisites: COMP 101 with “C” or better. Meets Competency General Education Requirement.
This course draws upon skills introduced in Writing 1. Students learn the techniques of argumentation and the skills for composing and documenting research papers. Studentsproduce a final research paper in APA format. Coursework also includes an introduction to the elements of fiction and literary analysis.(All writing classes must be passed with a “C” or better. Writing 1A, 1 and 2 meet the competency requirement for general education.)
