SOCS 310 - The Middle East

A survey course covering the geography, politics, people and culture of the Middle East.The origin and spread of Islam, the dominance of Arabic culture, and current political conflicts in the region are examined.(This course meets the World Culture requirement in the general education program at Friends University. Meets Foundations of World Culture General Education Requirement.)
