HUMA 304 - Music’s Influence on the Modern Age (1900-present) 3 credit hours This course will explore a broad range of styles described as popular music from approximately 1900 to present. The history and cultural influences of jazz, rock, folk, country, and world music will be studied by examining both the elements of musical styles and the features of society that influence music.
