The Criminal Justice major is designed to prepare students for direct employment or for continuing education at the graduate level. Students can choose a legal concentration or a behavior concentration, depending on the particular interests and goals of the student. In addition to classroom study, all students will spend at least one semester in a field experience setting (internship) to focus on particular areas of interest and to begin networking with professionals.
EMPLOYMENT
The criminal justice major prepares students for a variety of careers, including: state trooper, sheriff, criminologist, police officer, DEA and FBI agent.
