The Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) is a 36-credit hour graduate program designed to prepare students to proactively guide organizations through transitions, to enhance organizational competitiveness and to contribute to a high quality of work life for organization employees. The MSOD program focuses on providing graduate students with practical skills and a solid theory base to facilitate organization development. Students gain competence in analysis and action at the individual, group and organization level in order to function as internal consultants and change agents. The program curriculum exposes students to concepts and ideas designed to help organizations solve problems related to such areas as leadership development and employee motivation, performance improvement, training, change initiatives, organization development, restructuring, and design.
SCHEDULE
The program consists of 82 weeks of instruction plus action research. This design is facilitative and will be taught in four-hour blocks per week. The field experience model and facilitative mode of delivery requires extensive outside work and application. Each three hours of credit will represent a minimum of 32 formal contact and directed study hours.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the requirements stated under the Graduate Admissions Policy, the requirements for admission to MSOD are as follows:
- Baccalaureate degree with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher from an accredited institution.
- Two letters of recommendation from professional and/or academic references.
- Completion of program interview process and written approval of admission by the program director after review of the admission requirements.
