Religion and Philosophy B.A.
A major in Religion and Philosophy provides a balanced undergraduate degree in the various disciplines within religious and philosophical studies. A major in Youth Ministry expands that experience to include the practical area of ministry to adolescents. These majors provide foundational preparation in the areas of Bible, Theology, Church History, Spiritual Formation, and Philosophy. The upper-level courses within the major allow students to interact with faculty and fellow students and, when coupled with the General Education curriculum, prepares them for ministry involvement or further education at the graduate level.
EMPLOYMENT
Religion majors can be found in church and other ministry settings, as well as social, recreational or service settings where dealing with people’s physical and spiritual needs are a priority.
