FMTH 627 - Understanding and Treating Addictive Disorders

Addresses the neurophysiology of addiction and a spectrum of addictive disorders including chemicals, food, sex, and relationships with a focus on the biological, social, and psychological aspects of the addictive process. Special emphasis is given to the application of the family systems paradigm on diagnosis and treatment strategies.
