ENGR 411 - Senior Mechanical Design I

3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: ENGR 222, ENGR 311, and ENGR 401 with a grade of “C” or better.

This course is the first part of a two-semester sequence for the engineering capstone project. Application of design elements common to mechanical designs including shafts, bearings, gears, springs, fasteners, and weldments will be studied. Students will begin a practical engineering design project.
