CFSC 740 - The Double Knowledge of God

Prerequisites: CFSC 730 Holy Spirit(uality)

Throughout the history of the church, the theology of duplex cognitio (“double knowledge of God”) has played an important and quiet role in its practice of formation. To that end, this course focuses on the dual theme of knowing God as part of knowing the self—how we grow in loving God by knowing ourselves. Included in this course will be the student’s work of undertaking an enneagram study. Self-knowledge, self-awareness, and emotional health will be emphasized.
