REL 250 - Christian Heritage 3 hours Historical aspects of the Christian Church considering organization, doctrine and related movements. The historical and doctrinal development of the Quaker movement in both its British and American expression from the 16th century to the present. An evaluation of the movement will include reference to its role and influence in the legal system, international conflict, social issues and education as well as in world Christianity. Topics recently offered include: A. Great Personalities in Church History B. Quaker History and Beliefs.(Meets Perspectives General Education Requirement.)
