EDUC 310 - The Exceptional Child 2 credit hours Prerequisites: EDUC 110, and 251, and 299 all with “C” or better, and concurrent enrollment in EDUC 311 required. This course will enable the candidate to distinguish needs of diverse learners, including students with disabilities and other exceptionalities. The candidate will be able to work together effectively with other professionals and families to develop an appropriate individual education plan for each special needs learner. The candidate will also be able to apply the public laws and mandates that pertain to special education, assuring appropriate education for special needs learners. Course Delivery Methods: TRA
