POLS 480 - Political Science Senior Seminar

3 credit hours
Prerequisites: junior/senior standing or consent of instructor.
This is a research-focused capstone course for History and Political Science majors wherein students will pick a topic, develop a thesis statement, prepare a literature review, and then work through rough drafts with the aim of producing a high-level paper which demonstrates original thought, and integrates their study through the major with a specific research aim. Students will also be measured in their mastery of their major.
