MUSP 361 - Applied Conducting II: Choral

1 - 2 credit hours
Prerequisites: MUSC 220 with grade of C or better
Student in Applied Conducting II will analyze musical scores in preparation for conducting. Students will also determine and practice the conducting gestures and non-verbal communication used to conduct musical ensembles. Finally, students will develop the pedagogy necessary to teach music to ensembles.

Permission of the instructor is required. Course generally restricted to juniors and seniors only.
