MUSP 351 - Applied Conducting I (Choral)
Credit Hours: 1 - 2 variable
Prerequisites: MUSC 220 with C or better for choral and permission of the instructor
Students in Applied Conducting will analyze musical scores in preparation for conducting. Students will also determine and practice the conducting gestures and non-verbal communication used to conduct musical ensembles. Finally, students will develop the pedagogy necessary to teach music to ensembles.
