Friends University became the sister university of La Salle University of Cancun, Mexico, Friday, March 26, 1993. In the signed agreement, both institutions promised to promote and establish academic and scientific exchanges for students and faculty. Since then, the institutions have enjoyed successful academic exchanges of students from both campuses.
